CLAY CREATIONS - Wednesday March 25th, 6pm-8pm - Let's make a textured shallow dish or plate from a slab of clay! You pick the shapes, textures and form it learning hand-building basics. New Workshop!! "Needle Felting", Sat March 21st, 1pm-4pm with Tammy Choiunard. What is it? Needle felting is a dry felting technique that uses specialized barbed needles to interlock wool fibers, sculpting them into dense 3D objects or flat designs. Easy and relaxing. Our "Creative Kids" found a sweet way to learn the skill of painting shadows to make objects look dimensional!!

The last several days at ACAC have been spent working on a 8'x12' mural in cooperation with a Wright House Restoration project. This mural is part of an "America 250" Michigan grant that the WHR team received and will provide a backdrop to a visual display of the impact that Ammi Wright had in this area. It was a super fun painting adventure for Tina and Diane and we are excited to eventually see it on the wall at the Wright House!
