Yesterday we said goodbye to our wonderful 4-H summer intern, Finley Noll. Her enthusiasm, kindness, and steady leadership made such an impact on our youth programs. From planning activities to guiding kids through hands‑on learning, she brought a spark that made this summer truly special.

As you head into your year at college, we hope you find new opportunities, confidence, rest when you need it, and moments that remind you just how extraordinary you are. We can’t wait to see where your path leads next.

Julia Jardine is the 2026 Outstanding 4-H Member

Julia Jardine, daughter of Kathy and Bill Jardine and a member of the Hilltop Climbers 4‑H Club, has been named the 2026 Outstanding 4‑H Member. Jardine, a recent Mondovi High School graduate, received the award at the Buffalo County Fair Awards Program on Sunday, August 2, 2026. The award was presented by Patty George, Vice President of the Buffalo County 4‑H Leaders’ Association.

Jardine has been active in 4‑H for ten years, completing projects in Art, Child Development, Foods and Nutrition, Home Environment, and Photography. Her project work reflects creativity, responsibility, and a willingness to challenge herself.

Throughout her 4‑H career, Jardine has participated in numerous activities and service efforts, including STEAM Discovery Days, Buffalo County Safety Day, the Dairy Breakfast, National 4‑H Week sign making, and volunteering annually at the Buffalo County Fair. Her leadership strengthened through roles such as Camp Counselor at Camp Kinnissippewa, where she learned to support youth with empathy and confidence.

In her application, Jardine shared that her camp counseling experience was her most meaningful 4‑H moment, teaching her the importance of compassion in leadership. She wrote that 4‑H has shaped her into a hardworking, respectful individual who strives to live out the values of integrity, service, and perseverance.

Jardine completed a résumé and essay as part of the application process and received a $100 scholarship sponsored by the Buffalo County 4‑H Leaders’ Association.
