Have questions about.....helping your child succeed academically?..your child's ATLAS scores?..getting your child set up with mental health counseling?..Medicaid?..how to manage your child's use of technology?..how to access food for your family?..local medical providers?..how do I better connect with my child?

We have resources available to help you with all of these things and more! Please make plans to explore the Parent Resource Center when you come for your child's conference.

✨ Parenting Series Kickoff ✨
Healing and Supportive Play for Neurodivergent Children

Join us Tuesday, February 10th at 5:30pm at the Main Library for a powerful and practical evening designed to support and empower parents.

This session will be facilitated by Jennifer Davis, LPC — counselor and mother of a son with a neurodivergent diagnosis. Jennifer brings both lived experience and professional expertise, offering parents tools that are grounded in compassion, understanding, and real life.

Play is not just fun — it is communication. It is regulation. It is connection. And for neurodivergent children, supportive play can be a bridge to healing, confidence, and growth.

This evening will equip parents with strategies to:
• Connect more deeply through play
• Support regulation and emotional safety
• Strengthen resilience in their children

You are not alone in this journey. Come learn, connect, and leave feeling encouraged and empowered. 💛

Welcome Back, Alma School District!

After a week of snow, we are so excited to have our students and staff back on campus tomorrow, Monday, February 2, 2026! We’ve missed you and are ready to kick off the week.

Please keep a few things in mind:

⚠️ Bus Routes: Road conditions may still impact some routes. We will share finalized updates around 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning via text, email, and social media.

🍽️ Cafeteria: Menus may vary by building this week and might look different than what is on My School Menus as we restock.

A massive THANK YOU to our maintenance and transportation crews for working hard to ensure a safe return for us all. Please drive carefully tomorrow morning!

❄️ School Closure Announcement – January 26, 2026 ❄️

Due to the winter weather and hazardous road conditions, Alma Public Schools will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. Plan A will be implemented, which means:

- All school campuses and district offices closed
- No school for students
- All extracurricular evening activities canceled
