At Alpha School, we strive to model Christian values rooted in trust, fostering compassion, leadership, and social justice in a community that welcomes children of all faiths and cultures. Although Providence Heights Alpha School is an independent, non-diocesan school, it does maintain a close relationship with the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Our students participate in Diocesan competitive sports such as, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and cross country. Additionally, our teachers are able to prepare our students for First Holy Communion which culminates with a very special mass in the sister's Mother of Divine Providence Chapel, as well as Confirmation which they receive at their home parish following graduation. On Fridays throughout the school year, we are fortunate to have several priests from the diocese share mass with students as we come together as a community of faith in the sister's Mother of Divine Providence chapel. Open to children of all faiths, Providence Heights Alpha School offers a wide range of programs and unique benefits to our students:

Part Two: Pancake Breakfast
What a fun way to spend the last morning at Alpha School! Students, faculty, families, alumni, and Alpha School supporters were invited to stay after mass and enjoy an amazing pancake breakfast - complete with all the fixins!
Some stayed inside and experienced the building for the last time, while others dined on the lawn and soaked up the sun. It was a beautiful day to say goodbye and thank you for all the amazing memories at Alpha School.

The Alpha School Girl Scout troops enjoyed a Tae Kwon Do and self defense class at Young Brothers Tae Kwon Do in Cranberry Township.
Grandmaster Gavula and Master Faith led the girls through the basics of TKD and self defense and even treated them to a board breaking demonstration! The girls had tons of fun and learned lots of new skills while also collecting funds to support VOICe.
We are grateful to Young Brothers Tae Kwon Do for making this such an engaging and educational event for our girls.
