Tomorrow night at 7pm.

Serious scholarship. Remarkably dry wit. Come see why Pastor Josh hails Dr. Byron as the Conan O’Brien of academia.

We own Bibles. We call it sacred. And most of us have still sat with a passage that felt confusing, or watched two sincere believers read the same verse and land in different places.
On September 9, Dr. John Byron joins us at First Baptist Church of Alliance for a lecture on what it means to trust the Word of God. He'll walk through why the Bible isn't always as "clear" as we want it to be, and why that question matters less than the One the Bible is pointing us toward.

📅 September 9 | 7:00–8:30 PM
📍 1659 W State St, Alliance, OH 44601

Join us on September 9th in Alliance, Ohio.

Breakfast was a home run with good food and good fellowship.

The sanctuary was beautifully decorated with a flower-bedecked cross symbolizing Jesus’ resurrection and a bevy of fresh tulips and daffodils.

The music was inspiring with a combination of joyous hymns, contemporary worship songs, and a glorious organ prelude and postlude.

The message challenged the congregation.

Resurrection Day 2026 was one for the books,

But the best part of the day was watching Pastor Josh baptize his firstborn. Heaven rejoices!

Congratulations to the Smith family!

Happy Easter! He is risen indeed!

Breakfast was a home run with good food and good fellowship.

The sanctuary was beautifully adorned with a flower-bedecked cross symbolizing Christ’s resurrection and a bevy of fresh tulips and daffodils.

The music was tremendous with a good mix of wonderful Easter hymns, contemporary worship songs, and a soaring organ prelude and postlude.

But the very best part of our worship service was watching our Pastor Josh baptizing his first born. Heaven celebrates!

Happy Easter!
