A huge thank you to everyone that supported our 2nd annual “Summer Fun” fundraising event at the VFW on Saturday! Our proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Organization and our annual Student Teacher Scholarship! Special thanks to the vendors that joined us on Saturday and donated raffle items! Cassie Vic and Terri Myers were the winners of the Alpha Zeta “Summer Fun” bucket and basket, Doreen Rech won the plant bench from Katie’s Kreations, Roberta Rudden was the winner of The Crusty Egg’s sourdough jalapeño bread and food wraps, and Cathy Kloch was the winner of the coffee and goodies basket from CATM Coffee Co! Congratulations!

Alpha Zeta offers a scholarship to a female graduate of Box Butte County who is majoring in education and ready to complete their student teaching next year!

Two of our Altruistic Projects are complete!🎉👏
Our first one was held in December at our Christmas brunch. Members brought new toys to donate to Santa’s Helper’s, which provides Christmas gifts to many children in the community!

Our second altruistic project was a silent auction at our January meeting which would allow us to donate to another local organization that assists children‘s and their families. Members each brought a favorite recipe and its ingredients for members to place silent bids on. The funds raised at this event were donated to the Bulldogs Backpack Program, which provides children with food and snacks for the weekend.
