We shared a very special moment together on Friday morning, as we officially dedicated our brand new commercial playground to the Lord, and gave thanks and honor to those who helped make the project a reality for LCA and its students.
The dedication included:
- A special tribute to the founder of LCA (the no longer with us Pastor Kenneth Smith) by some of his family members.
- A special dedication from the Powell family in honor of their late grandfather, Henry J Colby IV.
- A special visit from Anne Baum and Courtney Penrose of Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s. Anne and Courtney spent time celebrating with us, and handed out LVHN putty eggs to our students!
- A message from our Board of Directors
- And can't forget to mention our catering from Wawa!
We are so thankful for all the support and love poured into this project from so many different people!

Our last two graduating classes at LCA raised money to replace the two broken outdoor basketball hoops at our school. Today was the first day that the kids were able to enjoy these new hoops! Thank you to the classes of 2021 and 2022!!

For all of you Alumni who still have scars from playing out on the macadam at LCA recess like I do... this is for you! 😊 Coming this spring, LCA will be installing a brand new commercial playground!

Earlier this month, we announced the approval and plans for the playground project, which includes a $43,000 matching grant opportunity that we began funding for. We are so happy to announce that as of this writing, we have raised over $75,000 of the $93,000 needed by the end of January.

We simply cannot wait for the unveiling of this playground! What a blessed moment it will be to see the joy and elation on our student's faces come this spring time.

Welcome to the LCA Alumni Page! As LCA nears its 50th anniversary as a Christian school ministry, we are putting a concerted effort back into establishing an alumni group where members can be kept up to date with LCA news and have a place to reconnect with former members.

Our intention over the next 6 months is to do a monthly newsletter with basic updates and fun information about LCA's past/present/future. We also have some very exciting events in store!
