Our Union Terrace staff have been working hard all week getting everything ready for an AMAZING 2026–2027 school year! 📚✏️ From setting up classrooms and putting the finishing touches on our school to participating in Convocation and professional development, our staff has been busy preparing for our Tigers! 🐯❤️

It was SO exciting to see so many of our families at Kindergarten Orientation and our Ice Cream Social! 🍦 We loved seeing your smiling faces and kicking off the school year together!

The countdown is ON! ⏰🎉 We can’t wait to welcome ALL of our Union Terrace Tigers back this Monday and officially ROAR into a brand-new school year!

HUGE thank you to our friends Mr. Jake Scoble and his wonderful furry companion Mikki for visiting our 4th grades at Union Terrace Elementary School !!

The kids had an amazing time last Thursday 6/4 getting to learn all about Mikki and her experience as a former police K9! Mikki has served as supports in security detail for US presidents, has helped with bomb squads, tracked down drugs and weapons, fought off bad guys, and also helped find missing children! Mr. Jake showed our 4th grade students many of the commands that Mikki knows, and explained about his experience training a former police K-9 like Mikki. Thank you both for your work in keeping our community safe!

The students absolutely LOVED Mikki, and we are undoubtedly Mikki's new #1 fans! :) thank you so much for coming to visit us, Mr. Jake & Mikki!

🖍️ If you or someone you know has a child who turns five (5) on or before February 1, 2027, you can now register your child for a high-quality, full-day Kindergarten program in the Allentown School District!
🖍️ We are excited to welcome your family to the Allentown School District and provide your child with the opportunities they need to reach their full potential. Together, we will build a brighter future for your child and our community.
🖍️ Families who register before May 15, 2026, will be eligible for summer programming.
