For the last half-century, Daniel Klem, Sarkis Acopian Professor of Ornithology and director of Muhlenberg’s Acopian Center for Ornithology, has been at the forefront of research on bird collisions with glass.

His new research, which was recently published in The Wilson Journal of Ornithology and featured in National Geographic, shows the annual death toll of birds crashing into glass may have been severely underestimated in the past.

A: The weekend is casual and relaxed, so dress comfortably (unless noted). Muhlenberg spirit attire is encouraged!

A: This all-alumni party will be a casual night of fun, food and dancing. Wear your 'Berg spirit gear for a chance to win prizes!

Q: What is the Alumni Tailgate?
A: The home for reunion class celebrations and affinity gatherings! Food will be available for purchase and alcohol is BYO.

On Thursday evening, alumni volunteers, Cardinal Keys and staff prepared to usher in Muhlenberg's class of 2027 with the beloved Candle Lighting Ceremony at Paul C. Empie Theatre.
