Meet Elizabeth! 💙

Elizabeth joined the LCA team last summer and has quickly become a joyful and creative presence in the classroom. She loves watching the children grow and develop, bringing energy to each day through laughter, dancing, and meaningful connections with both the children and her coworkers.

One of Elizabeth's favorite parts of working at LCA is witnessing important milestones, especially seeing a baby take their very first steps. Moments like these make her work especially rewarding and remind her of the impact early childhood education can have on a child's development.

When she's not in the classroom, Elizabeth enjoys expressing her creativity through painting, sewing, woodworking, and playing guitar. Her artistic spirit and enthusiasm shine through in everything she does, making her a valued member of the LCA community.

We're grateful for the positivity, creativity, and care Elizabeth brings to our children and families every day!

🌟 Meet Sammy W.! 🌟
Sammy has been part of the LCA family for just over a year and loves helping children learn, grow, and reach new milestones.

Her favorite part of LCA is the wonderful children and team she works with every day. She especially enjoys water play with the kids and looks back fondly on LCA's Christmas Eve festivities. 💦🎄

Outside of work, Sammy loves spending time with friends and family. We're grateful for the positive impact she makes on our students each day! ❤️

We're excited to introduce Kaitlyn S., who has been part of the LCA family for the past year!
Kaitlyn loves working with children and finds great joy in watching them grow, learn, and build friendships with one another. She enjoys helping young learners develop both academically and socially while creating a caring and encouraging classroom environment.
One of the things Kaitlyn values most about LCA is the strong sense of teamwork among the staff and teachers. She appreciates being part of a supportive community that works together to help children thrive.
Among her favorite memories at LCA is the annual Polar Express Party, a festive tradition that brings excitement and holiday magic to the school year. She also enjoys spending time with children through arts and crafts activities, which encourage creativity, self-expression, and hands-on learning.
When she's not at LCA, Kaitlyn enjoys reading, taking walks, and spending quality time with family and friends.

We're excited to welcome back Casey, one of our college students who is spending her summer at LCA!
For the past 3 years, Casey has been part of our LCA family, making meaningful connections and creating smiles every day. 😊
Her favorite part of teaching is helping children and seeing their faces light up with joy. One of her favorite LCA memories is our annual Water Play Days, when the children have fun splashing, laughing, and making summer memories together.

Summer Spotlight: Kayleigh! ☀️
Kayleigh has been part of the Lehigh Children's Academy Summer Camp team for three years. What she loves most about teaching here is building meaningful connections with students and really getting to know each child, while also gaining valuable hands-on experience that supports her future career goals.
When asked what she’s most looking forward to this summer, Kayleigh shared her excitement about creating a fun, welcoming environment where kids can enjoy their time, build friendships, and make great memories.
Her favorite summer activities? Being outside, playing games, swimming, and spending time with family, including her dog! 🐾
Kayleigh's positive energy and commitment to creating a joyful experience for our students truly shine, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of our summer team!

Maiah has been a valued part of the Lehigh Children's Academy (LCA) team since May 2022, and her heart for students shines through each season she returns. She loves witnessing the growth in every child and thrives in LCA’s lighthearted, welcoming, and supportive environment alongside her fellow teachers. Maiah especially enjoys water play days and creating opportunities for sensory and creative play, where she can watch children express themselves and explore at any age. Outside of LCA, she enjoys working out, spending time with friends, and a good Target trip. As a future speech-language pathologist, Maiah brings a unique perspective to the classroom, using her experience at LCA to deepen her understanding of language development and how children communicate and learn.

For 2 years, Ivy Pierson has been helping children learn, grow, and thrive at Lehigh Children’s Academy. Ivy’s passion for early childhood education shines through every day in the classroom.
One of Ivy’s favorite memories is Trunk or Treat, a celebration that brings joy, creativity, and community spirit to LCA each year.
We are grateful for Ivy’s dedication and the positive impact made on so many young learners!

As we continue celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week, we were so grateful for the opportunity to treat our incredible educators to a delicious salad bar lunch this week as a small token of our appreciation.
Our classrooms were also filled with smiles as teachers received items from their wish lists, thoughtfully gifted by the amazing families at LCA. These wish lists included age- and classroom-appropriate toys, games, and supplies that will be enjoyed by students and teachers alike.
Thank you to our wonderful families for your generosity and for helping us show our teachers just how valued they are. Your support truly makes LCA such a special community.

✨ Teacher Appreciation Week vibes! ✨ Today, our amazing teachers took a well‑deserved break at our Relaxation Station, a cozy, calm space complete with plush blankets, soft music, and the soothing glow of electric candlelight. 🕯️💙 And we’re just getting started! Tomorrow brings a fresh, delicious salad bar for lunch, plus a few extra surprises to show how thankful we are for all they do.

There’s no better way to kick off Teacher Appreciation Week than with a healthy breakfast! President & CEO Lisa Walkiewicz, along with her daughter Emma (a proud LCA alum!), treated our teachers and staff to a wonderful spread this morning. We are so grateful for our Lehigh Children's Academy team and love any opportunity to celebrate all they do.
