Our Easter egg hunt part 2

Our Easter egg hunt was a success!! Thank you to the staff and all the parents that participated during the event and those that provided the candy and eggs. We had 400 eggs for our kiddos❤️❤️

The celebration of the week of the young child continues with Work Together Wednesday !! We started off reading “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” which was a great story to read because the letters all work together to help each other from when they fall from the tree! Todays activity was building blocks! Building blocks is a great way for infants to learn the concept of working together because they will need help with stacking the blocks on top of each other ! We used two different kinds of blocks so they can also explore the different textures between them. As we were building together we also listen to some songs that was about how working together is a good thing!

Day 2 of celebrating The Week Of The Young Child! Tasty Tuesday YUM!!! For todays project we did a fruit sensory bin!!! Using bananas, strawberries and oranges, they got to explore the different smells, textures and taste of the fruits! We even explored the different colors of the fruits, it was fun seeing them squish and taste the fruits! A fun and healthy way to build fine motor and learning to use their many senses! For our younger infants they got to play and explore with our pretend kitchen toys! We also read The Very Hungry Caterpillar!

Hello everyone !! This week is The Week of the young child where we celebrate children and their creativity by doing fun learning activities all week! If you would like to learn more about it visit https://www.naeyc.org/events/woyc Today is Music Monday and for our project we created paper plate tambourines using dried beans for our sound!! Each child then got to decorate their own using marker dots! This helps with building their fine motor and also exploring the sounds the beans make when you shake the “tambourine”
