Good Afternoon RCCS Families,

Attached please find the 2023 - 2024 School Calendar, Supply Lists Uniform List, and Uniform Schedule for the 2023 - 2024 School Year.

Students' first day of school will be Monday, August 28th. School Days are as follows: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. (doors close at 8:25 a.m.)

Postcards with the homeroom assignment and supply list were mailed out last week and should have arrived or will be arriving in the mail.

When you receive your child's postcard you will see the homeroom your child is assigned to and you can use the schedule to see what uniform your child will be wearing for the first quarter/semester of school (August 28 through November 1.)

Please note that your child will need both uniforms, however, they wear specific uniforms per quarter (semester)as outlined in the pictures.

Students who applied for transportation will not be receiving their postcards until we receive bus assignments. If your child normally takes the bus, and you would like to know their homeroom you can contact the main office.

Attached please find the dates and times for re-enrollment for the 2023 - 2024 School Year.

Please Note:

1. All proof of residence must be within 60 days.

2. 5th graders going to 6th grade will be completing re-enrollment at the Middle and High School from April 10th to April 14th (Walk in from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) *Please take 2 proofs of residence and an up-to-date Physical.

3. You MUST go to the school in person to fill out Enrollment paperwork and bring the required paperwork.

4. If you have siblings across different grades you may fill out the paperwork at the same time for all your children when you come in.

5. If you have not yet, parents MUST set up a parent account on the Sapphire Community Portal https://rccs-sapphire.k12system.com/CommunityWebPortal/_auth/index.cfm/district-check to fill out several re-enrollment forms that will be electronic. We will have tablets available in the office during the re-enrollment period for parents to complete the electronic forms if they need help.

Last night, the RCCS Board of Trustees approved the 2023-2024 K-12 Master Calendar.

This calendar includes important dates and information for all RCCS families to review and plan accordingly for the next school year. This calendar is for BOTH the elementary school and the middle/high school.

Below are two important changes to highlight:
*Grades K-5: All students will be dismissed at 1:00 p.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of each month for professional development.
*Grades 6-12: The school day will start at 7:45 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.

RCCS will operate on a 2 hour delay Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
