Allentown Central Catholic High School

Our ACCHS student pilgrims and faithful chaperones started their second day in Italy with the Votive Mass of Saint Peter at the Hungarian Chapel in the crypt of St. Peter's Basilica. After some time for prayer, buying religious goods, and lunch, they toured the Vatican museum and the Sistine Chapel. Their day ended with a walking tour of Imperial Rome. 💚💛🇮🇹

The audience cheered when an Allentown Central Catholic High School girl won a top honor at a major theater awards event, and she hurried to the microphone to make her acceptance speech. Congratulations to Katie Heinen, Class of 2019! In 2025, Katie graduated from East Stroudsburg University with her M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is currently working as an Outpatient Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow. In May 2026, she was accepted at the American College of Education to earn her Doctoral Degree (Ed.D) in Literacy. Great job! 💚💛

Congratulations to Mya Zettlemoyer, ACCHS Class of 2020! Mya graduated from Moravian University with her Master of Science in Athletic Training and successfully passed her Board of Certification (BOC) exam. She previously earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Moravian in 2024, where she also balanced academics with athletics as a member of the softball team. Mya is now a Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer in North Carolina. She is thrilled to share that she has accepted a position within the Duke University Health Network in Durham, NC where she will be joining their Athletic Training Residency Program this July. 💚💛
