Ms. Felletter will be holding auditions on Monday, September 14th from 2-4pm to perform at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire School Days Theatre Competition on Thursday, October 1st!

AACMS uses text alerts to inform our community about important information such as school closures, inclement weather, and other emergency events. This is especially helpful in those pesky winter months when we are dealing with unexpected school closures and delays! If you are not already receiving texts from AACMS and would like to opt in, please text “Y” or “YES” to 67587.

**NOTE: If you received our text about the Labor Day holiday last week, you are already opted in and do NOT have to opt in again.**

🎟️ Ticket Preorders Are Open! 🎟️
AACMS Night at the Phantoms is happening on Friday, November 13th!
🧡 National Anthem performance by the AACMS Music Department
🖤 Additional student performances on the Concourse Stage during the first intermission
🌭 One free hotdog for every kid age 14 and under

Tickets are $22 each and can be pre-ordered with cash or check in a sealed and labeled envelope. Please see your homeroom teacher or Mrs. Ewaniuk-Forster for a paper order form. All orders must be in no later than October 13th.

Today, our 8th grade dancers participated in a mock audition to prepare them for their future audition at Charter Arts. We are so proud of their hard work and look forward to seeing what they accomplish during their final year here at AACMS!

There were snowball battles last week in Mr. Casciano‘s math classes. Students wrote things about themselves, crumpled up the paper, then battled. After two minutes of laughing and yelling, students read the snowball they ended up with, and the class tried to guess whose snowball it was. The snowballs never melted and no one got hurt!

La semana pasada hubo batallas de bolas de nieve en las clases de matemáticas del Sr. Casciano. Los alumnos escribieron cosas sobre sí mismos, arrugaron el papel y luego se lanzaron bolas de nieve. Tras dos minutos de risas y gritos, leyeron la bola de nieve que les había tocado y la clase intentó adivinar de quién era. ¡Las bolas de nieve no se derritieron y nadie salió herido!

Calling all student and alumni performers! Please consider lending your talents to our next performance: “The Opening Act: An AACMS Celebration”!

Mr. Muhl’s 6th Grade Theatre classes are starting the year with intention through their “One Word” Project. Each student chose one word for the year, illustrated it, and then wrote their corresponding goals on the back of the card. These words will hang in the theater room until the end of the year.

Las clases de teatro de sexto grado del Sr. Muhl comienzan el año con un propósito claro gracias a su proyecto “Una Palabra”. Cada estudiante eligió una palabra para el año, la ilustró y luego escribió sus objetivos correspondientes en el reverso de la tarjeta. Estas palabras permanecerán expuestas en el salón de teatro hasta el final del año.
