Pics from today’s adventures. Queen City to Hammonton to Ocean City MD to Delaware Coastal to South Jersey Regional to Queen City.
Challenging crosswind landings, variable and gusty winds. Great sights to see, and great ATC folks through Philly Bravo.

Explored 4 airports I have never been to before and had a great time! Zerbey, Penn Valley, Danville, then Northumberland. Very scenic this time of year.

Busy day today for 102EV. Flew to Hazelton to pick up Joe K and did a bunch of sightseeing in his neck of the woods between Hazleton and Bloomsburg. After dropping him off at Hazleton, I headed to Cherry Ridge, then Spring Hill, then headed to Smoketown for a couple of slices of pizza. Then it was on to Claremont, then New Garden, then Chester County. From there it was time to head home to Queen City. Put 6.0 hours on the Hobbs and burned 24.6 gallons of 100LL. Of the 8 airports I visited today, 4 of them were places I had not been to before, so I was able to add some more orange highlighter marks on the sectionals I saved for this.

Couple of cool pics from my flying adventures this morning. Zoom in to see NYC skyline in the sunrise as I fly near Martins Creek. Then view Delaware Water Gap as I enter the gap from East to West. Finally, at ABE look for the small plane on short final for runway 24 as FedEx waits to depart and I overfly at 2000’.

Visited 47N today for the first time and found the runway to not be nearly as bad as the comments in ForeFlight. The Italian restaurant is a very short walk from the airport and has great food along with friendly service. We will head back again!
