This school year we are going to highlight AES staff members- to both show our appreciation and to help us learn a little more about them all.

To kick this off, what better person to highlight than our amazing new principal, Mrs. Schneider!

On why Mrs. Schneider became a school principal. —

“When I was teaching in the classroom, I loved watching the growth happening with my students and making great connections with the families. I loved the idea of having a greater impact on students and taking a step into different leadership roles allowed me to determine that being a Principal was eventually what I wanted to end up doing in my career. Since I started this role six years ago, I have loved every minute!”

On what brought Mrs. Schneider to AES. —

“The great reputation for the Slinger District and having a smaller community feel for Allenton was exciting for me as I went through the interview process. Since I have begun, I have been welcomed with open arms and have felt extremely supported. I have had the chance to meet many families so far and everyone has been very welcoming:)”

Her favorite thing about being a principal-

“My favorite thing about being a Principal is getting to know all the students and families. I love to take the time to really get to know each student and be there to support each and every one. I love to have fun at work and want our students to feel the same way about coming to school:)”

And what would AES students be surprised to know about her?

“The students would be surprised to know some of my favorite foods are sushi, Nutella and pretzels, anything pasta and vanilla ice cream!”
