We are thrilled to share that Candace Choi has been selected as one of LMCU’s 25 Roots in Education grant recipients and will receive a $1,000 grant. Each year, LMCU's Roots in Education program awards twenty five $1,000 grants to outstanding teachers across Michigan and Florida. Recipients are nominated by someone who believes they have a true superpower for lifting up students, advocating for them, and encouraging their dreams.

ALLENDALE FALCONS MEET THE LION KING!

Evergreen second and third graders had two experiences with the LION KING when it came to Grand Rapids in April. There were two cast members who are part of the Lion King tour that came and worked with kids in a Masterclass. Students learned the song and dance moves to 'He Lives in You,' from the show after school on Tuesday, April 14.

On Sunday, April 19 Falcon Kids Choir sang in the DeVos Performance Hall lobby prior to the 6:30 PM show and then got to see the entire performance. These students did a great job performing songs from a variety of musicals and thoroughly enjoyed the performance. Thanks to Broadway Grand Rapids for these opportunities!
