Hello GVSU Desi students, hope you a had a great start to the new semester, wish you good luck on your academic progress. To add up some spice to our time here, we are taking a step ahead to make our organisation official at GVSU, which helps us organise Desi cultural events at Grand Valley, Yes!! it would be some real fun.

SRI GANESH CHATURTHI CELEBRATIONS, 8-29-2014 THRU 9-7-2014

Ganesh Chaturthi is a day on which Lord Ganesha, the son of Shiva and Parvati, is believed to bestow his presence on earth for all his devotees. It is celebrated as it is the birthday of Lord Ganesh. The festival is observed in the Hindu calendar month of Bhaadrapada, starting on the shukla chaturthi (fourth day of the waxing moon period). Typically, the day usually falls between 20 August and 15 September. The festival lasts for 10 days, ending on Anant Chaturdashi . Ganesh, the elephant-headed son of Shiva and Parvati, is widely worshipped as the supreme god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune.

Bath- 2
Includes- washer, dryer, lots or parking space, microwave, oven.
Other- Close to a Grocery store, two mins drive to Pew Campus, bus stop right outside the lane ( one min walk). Friendly neighborhood with families around and very peaceful.
