Our teachers grew stronger this week! Their Professional Development leaned into Outdoor Education. And they prayed for students and the year, worshipped, and even played together! We are ready and excited to see our students back NEXT WEEK!

Public Service Announcement: Don't make our students practice with only the mouthpiece any longer! Send ACS your gently used, no-longer played, and entirely-intact band instruments!

Ok, ok ... just kidding. We know practicing with just the mouthpiece is part of the learning process, and we DO have some instruments for them to learn, but with our growing community, the need for instruments has also grown. A LOT.

As you're gearing up for school, please consider donating your brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments to us — especially saxophones and clarinets! This IS a tax-deductible contribution.

Fourth Grade is in for a treat as we welcome our newest ACS Teacher, Mrs. Bethany Bakker! (insert cheering sound here.)

Mrs. Bakker has been an ACS parent and sub for many years now, and God has beautifully and faithfully directed her steps to join the ACS teaching team starting in just a couple weeks (AH!!). She and her family enjoy spending time outdoors, playing games (especially pickleball!) and traveling. She is eager to serve alongside her students and all of you at ACS.

M–F, about 3 hours each morning
Educational experience is preferred, but a love for the kids and the Lord is mandatory!

Substitute Teachers:
