is a Latina-based multicultural sorority, we are GV's FIRST and ONLY Multicultural sorority on campus. Omicron Alpha believes in upholding our 5 prinicples of Academics, Commuity Service, Cultural Awareness, Morals and Ethics, and Social Interaction in our everyday lives.We put out many events on campus that uphold our principles. Since being founded in 1999, Omicron Alpha has received many awards

and has been recognized for our many achievements, including Chapter of Excellence. Annually you can find Sigma Lambda Gamma's Omicron Alpha Chapter at the Breast Cancer Walk in downtown Grand Rapids, at Grand Valley's Campus Life Night, Hosting Grand Valley's Icebreaker and Homecoming, and supporting other Greeks.
