5 Things You Should Be Doing NOW to Prepare for Election Day!
Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
1. Check your voter registration! Make sure you're registered, your information is accurate, and your address is up to date. Don't wait until Election Day to discover a problem!
2. Know who's on your ballot! Research the candidates, their positions, and their records. Don't forget about local races, judges, school boards, and ballot proposals.
3. Make your voting plan! Decide whether you'll vote early, absentee, or in person on Election Day. Know your polling location, hours, and identification requirements.
4. Have conversations that matter! Talk with family and friends about the issues affecting your community. Share reliable information, ask questions, and encourage people to do their own research.
5. Help someone else get prepared! Check on first-time voters, college students, seniors, and others who may need help understanding the voting process. Offer a ride, share resources, or help someone find their polling place.
Don't just show up on November 3. Show up INFORMED, PREPARED, and READY!
