Four years ago, I wrote a book called Actualize Purpose: Through the Threshing Floor and forgot about it. Then, just this week, a student walked up to me after class ...
He had come to this university from a city 1,500 miles away, and I would have never known that someone from that distance had ever read my book.
"Are you the author of Self-Actualize?" I shrugged it off. "Many authors have written on that."
He shook his head. "No. Actualize Through the Threshing Floor. I saw your name, and it is familiar. I read it two years ago."
Then he said something that stopped me cold: "I've read it twice. It impacted and grounded me."
A student from 1,500 miles away had carried my words for two years, read them twice, and crossed my path just this week - not because he came looking for me, but because our paths were divinely ordained to intersect.
The waves we make often feel like nothing to us. But we have no idea who, in eternity, we are impacting.
So if you're wondering whether your work is making a difference, let this be your sign.
It is. Keep going. Actualize Center Doc Casper
