Has the exam schedule been posted? I may have missed it but looked on the website and in the announcements.
Supply pick up was an incredibly easy process this morning. Kudos to our Ereckson teachers and staff!
Soon to be 7th grade parents (and up), here's a great opportunity for your kiddo to get out of the house this summer and learn about what we police officers do on a day to day basis!!! The Allen Police Department is once again offering the Junior Police Academy, with some of Allen's School Resource Officers as it's instructors (including me)! Registration is open now and spots are limited!

Hey Huskies! Need volunteer hours or just want to help? Let’s do something good.

Beginning June 1, teens ages 13 – 18 can earn up to 20 service hours from the Allen Public Library by writing uplifting letters to share with children in the community or by dropping off specific donations for the Allen Community Outreach/Allen Animal Shelter. Allen ISD is applying to receive Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief III (ESSER III) funds under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021. The intent and purpose of the funding is to sustain the safe operation of schools and address student learning needs as a result of COVID-19. We are seeking input from stakeholders in our community to assist us in developing our plan for the use of ESSER III funds. Your feedback and input are incredibly valuable and will help inform our plan.

We will be able to assist any current Ereckson Middle School student on this day or earlier if they are finished using the device/item. At-Home Leaners will be able to return district owned items at the front main entrance of the building. In-Person Learners will be able to return district owned items to Mrs. Ladue in the computer lab while they are at school.

Please see the list below of items included:
· Chromebook and power cord return
· Hot Spot
· Orchestra - If you are not continuing orchestra next year, you MUST return your instrument to the music store. If your instrument is from Dallas Strings, please return it to them by June 1st. Their address is 20 East McDermott Road Allen, Texas 75002, 469.675.0085
· Medication from clinic – email [email protected]
· Library – return books that belong to the campus – library books, electronic dictionaries, bilingual dictionaries, and classroom novels - GT 7th Grade Students - Devil Storm, Dark Thicket, or Where the Broken Heart Still Beats

Before:
1. Know that our device return event will be at the front main entrance of Ereckson MS.
2. Locate your students’ ID badge and prepare to bring it with them.
3. Gather all items to return to Ereckson. Please include the power cord when returning a Chromebook.

During:
1. Come to the front main entrance of Ereckson MS.
2. Remain in your car at all times.
3. Your student may need to present their ID badge to staff from the passenger side of the car.
4. Staff may scan your student’s ID if returning a Chromebook and power cord.
5. Hand any books for return to the staff.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we work together to finish the 2020-21 school year.

SATURDAY: The Allen Fire Department and Ayman Care have joined together to offer free, voluntary COVID-19 vaccinations to children ages 12 and up. The vaccines will be distributed on Saturday, May 22 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ford Middle School auxiliary gymnasium (630 Park Place, Allen, TX 75002). Allen ISD designated the Ford gym as a site to support the vaccination effort, however, a COVID-19 vaccination is optional for families and not a requirement for any student who enrolls in summer school, summer camp, or classes this fall.

All minors must be accompanied by an adult, and a form of ID must be presented on site. For more information, please call Ayman Care at 972-288-9747.

Allen ISD will be offering curbside meal bundles to children 18 years and younger at no cost beginning Tuesday, May 25, through Wednesday, June 30, at Ereckson Middle School and Curtis Middle School.

Curbside pick-up will occur at each campus, twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m.

Tuesday’s pick-up will include a breakfast and lunch for Tuesday and Wednesday (four meals), while Thursday’s pick-up will include a breakfast and lunch for Thursday, Friday, and Monday (six meals).
