Hello!

It's almost time for the event of the 8th grade year: FUN DAY! We need volunteers on Friday, May 15th to help make one more Husky memory!

There are two shifts available - PLEASE feel free to sign up for both shifts! EMS Staff will assign duties when you arrive. Please note: the 2:30-4:00 PM shift includes clean up.

We are also in need of pop up tents for our outdoor activities this year. If you are able to loan one, please sign up for a slot below. Per the school: drop off at the school, by the gym, after 8:30 AM on May 15th. Please write your name on the tent and include any weights / stakes if you have them. They can be picked up at the same spot after school.

Remember, all volunteers on campus must be approved by the district every school year. This is free and only requires a quick application. The link to apply is below.

Weather reports are calling for severe thunderstorms later this afternoon and into the early evening, with the potential for hail, tornadoes, and thunderstorms. All schools and transportation services will continue to operate and release on a normal schedule this afternoon. After-school tutoring, including late bus service, is canceled this afternoon. Kids Club after-school care will remain open.

Several after-school events may be canceled or run on a modified schedule, so please look for communication from your school principal. The Jazz Band concert scheduled this evening at Lowery Freshman Center has been canceled.
