Our Three's classes had a special day to celebrate Transportation week. They had the opportunity to climb inside and explore some buses, golf carts, and a tractor. They even meet some firemen and saw their big fire engine. These classes also had some special outdoor time to make their own boats, drive on a special track, and pull stuffed animals in wagons! This was a very fun day for all!
Last month was our Open House and our sweet kids are still talking about how much fun it was to show special family members their classroom and special artwork!
We love the support and prayers we get from our priests. Father Ricardo was able to come to bless our classrooms before Palm Sunday and also help in our prayer service this month.
We love all these ideas to love and connect with your child! ❤️

We hope all our families are enjoying their Christmas break! We are looking forward to seeing all your smiles when we return in January (3rd or 4th). We were lucky to have Santa come visit our classes before we left for the break!

The flyer says the event will be in the South field; however, we just received word that it will be in the parking lot. We hope to see you all there!
We pray for a restful, fun, and safe fall break for everyone. Fall Break Activity Idea: Collect and paint objects from nature.
Ms. Suzanne and Ms. Emily took their Flamingo class on an acorn hunt. They then compared the various characteristics of their collection. Next, they used 3 of the acorns to paint part of the art project for the day: a handprint acorn. What a great way to learn!
Some preschoolers will give you a play-by-play of every second of their day. However, as you might have discovered, many times when you ask a preschooler how his/her day was, you won't get much of an answer. Here are some ways to encourage a connection after school!

How can we be a good friend today?
“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” — FRED ROGERS
Ms. Julie and her Flamingos made apple trees this week and we just love all the smiles and giggles that were coming from her room! 🍎🍏🍎
