Here’s a look at just some of what PTA does on our elementary campuses. Great job Boon Elementary PTA and Norton Elementary PTA!

Our final thank you this week is to our entire 2025-2026 Allen ISD Council of PTAs Executive Board! 💐
Featuring some new faces and some veterans, this group helped coordinate district-wide events such as our Leadership Academy, Used Book Fair, Eagle Run, Reflections Reception, Life Member Banquet and so much more.
They also take care of our staff and students at Anderson and Dillard, where there is no local PTA.
And - they hosted trainings and socials for our local PTAs, while always being available for guidance one-on-one. Many board members also volunteered at campuses across the district.
To each and every board member, thanks for another great year across Allen ISD! 🎉

The last day of school is Friday, May 22! It is also an early release day for everyone in the district. Families should take a quick look at the schedule for release times.

We want to take a moment today to say a HUGE THANK YOU to our leader, our president, Jyothi Reddy, as she prepares to close out her time on Council and hands over the reins.
Jyothi joined the Board five years ago as our Environmental Chair, sharing her passion for the post before moving on to VP of Membership and now, President.
Her strength of character and sweet spirit have inspired us all - from the pre-k parents she sees volunteering at Anderson to the PTA newbies and seasoned vets on our local boards & Council.
She's always there, offering a helping hand.
We thank you Madam President, for steering our ship so well these past two years.
You've left us, as people and as a Council, better off for knowing and working with you. 💐

Another thank you today to a valued member of our Council board who we will miss next year.
Dr. Robin Bullock joined our board in 2019 when she became acting superintendent, then got the post permanently, and has been a member of every local PTA since then.
She's also been there personally -- helping us navigate supporting our campuses, and communities, during the Covid pandemic. And she is one of the first to step up and ask "how can we help?" Anything from bringing donuts to our dozens of volunteers and students heading to PTA Rally Day at 4am... to personally delivering and helping sort books at our Used Book Fair.
Robin - thank you for your commitment to our PTA mission and enjoy retirement! 💐
