The RECYCLE SALE is tomorrow, Friday, December 8th!
Thank you, families for the donations. Our 5th & 6th grades did a wonderful job of sorting and pricing the items. All items are priced between $1 - $10. Remember to send your students with CASH to shop, shop, shop! All proceeds goes towards funding Norton's Kids Against Hunger event.

Note: This is a shopping event for students only. The sale is not open before or after school.

Norton is partnering with Toys for Texans, a non-profit organization local to Allen aiming to provide toys and books to children across Texas. NORTON'S DECEMBER 2023 KNIGHT OF THE MONTH!
Congratulations to Ms. Szeryk! She is Norton’s K-6 Gifted & Talented Campus Specialist, but her contributions to Norton goes beyond her job title. Ms. Szeryk goes above and beyond for Norton and our students. She is a GLOW GETTER who always looks for opportunities to empower students through experiential learning through her programs like the MORE Store, Recycling Sale, and the morning announcements. We are so grateful to have Ms. Szeryk to guide our Norton Knights. 💛🖤💛

Congratulations to our Norton Knights Violet Forbes and Emmaline Parker! Their art entries have advanced to the council level of judging. Violet submitted an original work of photography. Emmaline composed and performed an original piano piece. Let's wish them luck at the next round of judging.

Make room for the new and bring us your gently used toys!

Norton's 2nd annual School Wide Recycle Sale is on Friday, Dec. 8th! From Wednesday, Nov. 29th through Wednesday, Dec. 6th, students can bring their gently used toys, costumes, jewelry, scooters etc., to their classroom (to receive MORE points), then on Friday, Dec. 8th, they will be given time to come to the Multipurpose Room to SHOP for friends and family! Last year was our first year organizing a school wide sale and it was INCREDIBLE. We were able to raise over $4,200 for our Kids Against Hunger Program, over 227 students were able to "work" at their grade level booth, and so many enjoyed the freedom of shopping for their loved ones on their own. Reminder: TOMORROW, Tuesday, November 14th @ 5:30 pm - 7 pm is FAMILY STEAM NIGHT WITH MATHNASIUM & ERECKSON BEST ROBOTICS.

Bring your whole family to play math games and try your hand at a robotics version of "Operation". Students will also be able to steer a robot. G

Groun ups are encouraged to enoy the activities with their students This is NOT a drop off event.

There is an opportunity to shop the book fair duing this evening.

Congratulations to Ms. Lyons! She is a life long learner at heart! From spending time planning with our instructional coaches to trying new things with her classes- she works so hard to ensure she is doing her very best for her 5th grade students. She also coaches a UIL team that will compete later this school year. We are so grateful to have Ms. Lyons as a Norton Knight teacher! 💛🖤💛

This year, Norton Knights in the AHS Class of 2024 are invited to apply to the Norton PTA Scholarship via the scholarship application process provided by the Foundation for Allen Schools.

CLASS OF 2024: The senior class is invited to apply for a variety of locally funded scholarships, organized into ONE application by the Foundation. This streamlines the process for students, encourages more students to apply, and provides a variety of quality applicants to the local funding organizations and businesses.
