Good Morning Parents!

Attached is the September Calendar. We will be sending a copy home for you this week. I have listed important dates to below to remember.

1) Tues, 9/1: Fall Supply Fee Due-$150
Baby Class - Kinder Class, $65
After School Class.

2) Fri, 9/4: Metroplex Vision & Hearing
Forms & Money due. If you received
a notice that your child is due for
their vision/hearing tests, please
turn in your forms and money by
this date….Cash or Check only.

3) Mon, 9/7: Brookhaven Closed in
Observance of Labor Day.

4) Tues, 9/8: Metroplex Vision &
Hearing testing day for TK & Kinder
children who received a notice.
Please have your child to school by
8:30am this day.

5) Fri, 9/11: Grandparents Day-In honor
of all our grandparents, we would
like to have you join us as we
celebrate you with donuts from
4pm-5pm.

6) Fri, 9/18: Parent’s Night Out-If you
are looking for a kid free night,
make sure to sign up your child(ren)
for this. They will have pizza,
dessert, crafts, & a bounce house.
Time: 6p-10p, Cost: $40 p/ch.
Sign-up form will be posted by the
front door.

7) Mon, 9/21: AISD No School-If you
would like your child to come to
Brookhaven this day, please let us
know in advance for planning
purposes. There will be an
additional charge.

We have officially finished our first full week of the new school year and it was a success! Our kids are getting acclimated to their new classrooms and teachers, which has been an adjustment for them. Our Language classes have also begun this week. Just like that summer is over and our new school year has began. Yesterday was our first day starting the 2026-2027 school year which included classroom move ups. The children are all getting adapted to their new teachers & new classrooms. This is going to be a great school year! I am excited to see the growth that will happen with every child.
I would like to thank all the parents who updated me and sent me pics on how their child’s 1st day went in ISD yesterday. Those children are going to do well.

Yesterday our summer program came to an end. It was a fun summer and it is hard to believe it is over. Thank you to all the parents for trusting us with your babies. Here are pictures from the last week of our program. See private page for additional. Thank you!

Dear Brookhaven Family,

Unfortunately, yesterday a 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck Colombia leaving many people and families affected and facing an extremely difficult situation.

Ms. Paz is from Colombia and as you can imagine this was very terrifying for her. Her family is safe, but shaken. Please keep them in your prayers 🙏🏻. Ms. Paz has found a few places that are accepting donations, so we are asking for your help.
Items that are needed: non-perishable food items, personal-care items, emergency supplies, school supplies, or simply contribute financially, every little bit can make a difference. No clothing items are being accepted at this time.

Let’s help make a difference and come together to support Ms. Paz and her country during this difficult time. This means a lot to her and us.

Donations are being accepted started today, 8/11 - Friday, 8/14 .
