Disclaimer: This is just me offering helpful information to ladies that may be struggling at this time. Perhaps, you could just use a little extra cash! I am in no way responsible for any legal proceedings that may or may not occur due to inaccurate information from your search. Use at your own risk! Hey moms, are y'all familiar with unclaimed properties? I searched it a few years back and found a little change. They sent me a check im the mail a few years. You can also check different states under the national search. I have verified with several people in last 24 house that this indeed is still legit. I was searching my name yesterday and found that my brother had 6700 from Child support that's been sitting since 2018.

Hello family, just want to say hi and Enjoy your weekend

An organization that supports single mothers, based in North Texas Our mission is to help single mothers out of the tight spots with no strings attached.

Sometimes, mothers just need someone to talk to or information about resources for her family. The Gifts for Moms Project was born about a year ago. What began as a small Christmas gift drive for single mothers, took on a life of its own virtually overnight. Stephanie Ward, a single adoptive mother of two small children, had grown to dread Christmas because of the isolation and sadness she felt. Year after year, she would spend most of her money on her children. On Christmas Day she would watch as they opened their gifts, wishing there was something for her. As Christmas 2008 approached, Stephanie decided that she was not going to endure yet another miserable Christmas. Instead, she told her children they could choose one gift each, and that they were going to spend the rest of the money buying gifts for single mothers. She invited a few friends to help her purchase gifts, hoping to deliver 25 gifts to mothers at her children's day care. However, when a local television station picked up the story, the drive escalated beyond expectation. People from all over North Texas began donating gifts, wrapping gifts and volunteering to deliver them. In 2008, Gifts For Moms distributed over 250 gifts to single mothers who otherwise would have had nothing to open on Christmas Day. This year, 2009, we expect to double that number!

Mission: To help and support single mothers

Good Afternoon Wealth Builders:

Following are homework action items for the next two weeks. Our next meeting is Saturday at 10:00 am to 11:00 am online. Please work on completing the MoneyLife indicator and answering the questions from last week video.

MoneyLife Indicator

1. Click on the link above to complete the MoneyLife® Indicator. MLI is a unique assessment designed to determine your financial health from a biblical perspective. (Please note: The MLI website is separate from the group study. It is for your information only. Therefore, it’s important that you create an account on the MLI site in order to refer back to your report throughout this course.) In the assessment, you will be asked 52 questions relating to your beliefs and behaviors in 9 key areas. After completing the questions, you will have immediate access to a report that includes your scores in all 9 areas. Your MLI scores, which are based on alignment with biblical principles, will serve as an indicator of your financial health. Prayerfully review your report and consider your top strengths, as well as key areas for improvement. Ask God to help you close any gaps between your beliefs and behaviors.

2. Start working on your budget, using any method you are comfortable with. You may prefer an online budgeting tool or app, software you have installed on your computer, or paper and pencil. We like to use Every Dollar Budgeting by Dave Ramsey: The goal is to find what works best for you and stick with it! You should complete your entire budget by the end of Week 4.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday. Following is the zoom meeting information: Meeting ID: 823 8821 1037

[07/18/20]   DAY SIX - Prayer to Think Like a Warrior

Father God, I pray You help me to change my mind if my thoughts are not aligned with Your will and Your way for my life. I pray that You strengthen me to be greater than I was the day before.

Lord, help me to apply my mind to things that will benefit me. Help me to surrender and sacrifice every thought that makes me feel unworthy of the purpose You have for my life.

God, help me with my observation of others and my observation of myself. I come against any seeds of thoughts that have been planted in my life by the enemy. I submit my thoughts to You. I give You full authority over my mind.

I ask, God, that You teach me to know when it is time to strengthen my spirit and when it is time to rest in knowing that You have it all under control. I pray, God, that You show me how to be open but also teach me how to guard my heart. Help me not to fight the wrong way, but to think like a kingdom warrior.

Thank You for being the light that directs my path. I give You glory and praise for being my way maker. It is so, and so it is. Amen.

[05/14/20]   All healthcare providers are eligible and encouraged to participate in the COLLIN CARES COVID-19 testing program!
Collin County residents without health insurance are eligible to receive free COVID-19 testing and physical evaluations under the recently announced Collin Cares plan.

On Monday, the Collin County Commissioners Court authorized $3 million to cover the costs associated with testing Collin County uninsured residents of all ages through a voucher system, whereby the county will be billed directly by local healthcare providers. The funding for Collin Cares comes from the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

The testing service includes FDA-approved COVID-19 testing and a medical evaluation during drive-through or in-office visits. The voucher does not cover prescriptions, and only uninsured Collin County residents are eligible.

All health care providers are eligible and encouraged to participate in the Collin Cares COVID-19 testing program. PrimaCare Urgent Care and CommunityMed Urgent Care have already agreed to accept the Collin County vouchers. Uninsured Collin County residents are encouraged to contact their health care providers to determine whether they will accept the Collin Cares vouchers. Health care providers that would like to inquire about the program may contact Collin County at (972) 548-4702.

Visit the Collin Cares webpage to download the free COVID-19 test voucher and more information about Collin Cares. Additional information about the Collin Cares direct assistance program will be available and posted online as soon as possible.

Our Story

Gifts for Moms is a peer-to-peer support group for single moms with school-aged children. We believe that happy moms make happy children. We are a support bridge for mothers struggling to raise children alone. We provide support in a number of ways - we offer resource referrals, educational seminars, entertaining and informative events, support groups, counseling services, and online peer-connections and information exchange.

We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a governing board. We currently have over 300 moms on our roster. The organization is open to all moms, but our primary focus is serving the needs of mothers and children in Collin County.

Those who join our group agree to these tenets:

  • We agree to work consciously toward self-sufficiency by attending at least three of the seminars and workshops sponsored annually by the group.

  • We agree to volunteer at least 5 hours a year to support the mission of the organization.

  • We believe that you are never too broke or too needy to consider the needs of others.

  • We agree to always act in a spirit of gratitude and never entitlement toward donors or others in the organization.

  • We agree to share information and offer support to other mothers whenever possible and with no strings attached.

  • We believe that it is our responsibility to pay it forward. For whom much is given much is expected.

  • We agree to always act in a spirit of fairness and kindness while online and at events.

  • We agreed to continue to support the group both financially and through volunteering once our children have finished high school.

  • We believe that we are stronger together.
