Post Acute Medical’s presentation for nurses education grant to disabled Navy Veteran.
Allen, TX – Post Acute Medical Rehabilitation Hospital of Allen will host an event honoring disabled Navy Veteran, Jeremy Morel, for his selfless service to our country and recognize his perseverance throughout recent hardships he has faced. Jeremy will be presented with a $5,000.00 education grant to assist with fulfilling his dream of becoming a Registered Nurse.
This event will take place at Post Acute Medical Rehabilitation Hospital of Allen:
Friday January 10th at noon.
1001 Raintree Cir. - Allen, TX - 75013
This Veteran grant was inspired by a chance meeting between brand new Uber driver and an Uber user. During his visit to Dallas, owner and president of Post Acute Medical, LLC, Anthony Misitano had the pleasure of meeting Uber driver Jeremy Morel. As they made their way to AT&T Stadium, Jeremy shared his story with Mr. Misitano, who was captivated by Jeremy’s positive attitude and unwillingness to give up on his dream of becoming a nurse. Mr. Misitano was inspired and knew that he wanted to help this Veteran in some way.
Mr. Misitano stated, “During the last month I have been reflecting on the success I’ve had personally, professionally, and my good fortune throughout my life. I spent a lot of time thinking about a way I could give back, and pay it forward, and then this Uber ride happened. After hearing his story, I knew I had to find a way to help him.”
Post Acute Medical has a great military affairs division dedicated to supporting and advocating for military Veterans by connecting them with a multitude of services and programs. This event is another example of how passionate the company is toward our military and those who have served.
PAM Rehabilitation hospital of Allen’s CEO, Jenny Beuerlein, will be hosting the event along with Vice President of Military Affairs, Dan Blasini.
