Reminder that tomorrow, Thursday, November 9th is the last day to drop off your letters for teachers and staff members!
Our Lovejoy Letter Campaign is a beloved tradition. Students and families write letters of appreciation and gratitude to our teachers, staff members, and administration across the District. Letters do not have to be elaborate or lengthy. The goal is to let them know how much they are valued.
Please place your letter in a clearly labeled envelope including the staff/teacher’s name, the campus and LLC (Lovejoy Letter Campaign). There will be collection boxes available at all campuses in the District.

Leopard Friday & Friday Night Lights!! Schedule of events for this Friday, November 10th:
*4:50 p.m. - Arrive for Leopard Friday (please do not arrive before this time as LHS will still be dismissing students through carline.
* 5:00 p.m. - Leopard Friday, a K-12 district event, will be held in the LHS Courtyard
* 5:45 p.m. - Pep Rally during Leopard Friday
* 7:00 p.m. - Senior night introductions for Football, Band, Majestics, Color Guard, Cheer, Cross Country, Fall Tennis, Fall Golf, Athletic Trainers will begin
* 7:30 p.m. - Lovejoy HS vs. Pine Tree HS Playoff Game at Leopard Stadium. Purchase tickets in advance here: https://buff.ly/3kmCGvE.
Due to multiple overlapping events, parking will be very limited at LHS. Satellite parking with shuttle buses will begin at 5:00 p.m. from Grace Church, Willow Springs Middle School, and Hart Elementary as satellite parking locations.

Lovejoy Community,
Due to anticipated weather conditions tomorrow night, October 27th, our home football game has been rescheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. LHS Early Release will proceed as scheduled.
The updated schedule is as follows:
* LHS (only) Early Release: 5th - 8th period class bell schedule (Dismissal/Lunch 12:40 PM)
* Football Game Opening Announcements: 5:30 p.m.
* Game Time: 6:00 p.m.
Leopard Friday and Senior night are part of Lovejoy’s rich traditions and we are diligently working to preserve these community events; therefore, both events are being rescheduled to our first home playoff football game. Due to the success of our football team, we are guaranteed to host a playoff game the week of November 6th. The exact date and time of the playoff game will be communicated in the near future. Please know that the safety of our student participants and families was at the forefront of our decision to start tomorrow's football game earlier.
We appreciate the support of our wonderful community and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow as we take on Greenville at home!

This is an opportunity for parents and community members to connect with Lovejoy ISD Trustees and Superintendent Katie Kordel in an informal setting. During Community Coffee Talks, Lovejoy ISD leadership listens, shares and engages in open dialogue/discussion with our community.

Reminder: We have our Fall Break starting tomorrow. Campuses will be closed all week and will reopen Monday, Oct. 16th. The District Administration Building will be closed on Monday, however they will be open Tuesday - Friday with adjusted office hours of 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. Please ring the doorbell for assistance. We hope you have a fun break and enjoy the Fall weather!

The Lovejoy ISD Board of Trustees invites you to attend the regularly scheduled Board Meeting tonight, September 25th, at the Lovejoy Child Development Center (LCDC).
The Board Meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the Board of Trustees retiring into Closed Session in Room C113. The Board of Trustees expects to return to Open Session at 7:00 p.m. in the Library.
