My big girl went back to school today, bittersweet moment since she’s basically been attached to my hip since March. I know this will be good for her and I’m so happy she’s back at Oak Brook School. ❤️

I’ve come up with a solution for us to continue to support our hardworking daycare people! Many of our daycares are charging half tuition. We don’t know what they’re doing on the back end to work on this but I know what we can do to help! Today I experimented something. I paid a trusted teacher to pick up my two kids and care for them in their home. This is safe social distancing as it’s less than 10 people. I also sent any essentials to stay sane and safe (think extra clothes, diapers, wipes, fruits/veggies) This allowed me to continue my work, pay attention to my husband, and deal with other daily crisis that may pop up. At 6:00 the kids were dropped off and HAPPY. My kids said they had fun and want to do it again. IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT. I suggest you reach out to your school and ask for names of anyone available and if they want to do this. Now, it is YOUR CHOICE to do this. Not direction from anyone. Just a mama wanting to help others in need. Thoughts?

Our Story
Oak Brook School in Allen opened in June 2017. We offer a well rounded, solid curriculum which is based on the local ISD program. We pride ourselves on being a safe, nurturing preschool with dedicated and experienced teachers and management team. We were voted BEST EARLY EDUCATION, BEST CHILD CARE and BEST SUMMER CAMP for 2018 by Living magazine’s Reader’s Choice.
Oak Brook School Allen school is our second location; first being in Murphy which started in 2001. The school in Murphy was voted "BEST CHILD CARE", "BEST EARLY EDUCATION", “BEST SUMMER CAMP” and "BEST PRIVATE SCHOOL" in 2016, 2017 & 2018 by Living magazine’s Readers Choice. Our goal has always been to replicate the success of Murphy in Allen and provide the community with a strong, reliable program for their little ones.
Allen school is built on 2.7 acres of land in a friendly residential part of E. Allen. Our building is spacious with well-equipped classrooms, indoor soft toys playroom for infants and toddlers, multiple outdoor playgrounds, gym and library/computer room. We consider our beautiful building, experienced teachers, state certified ISD-based curriculum, real time communication with parents, and meals made using fresh ingredients as our key pillars of strength.
We offer 9 programs to best suit your child’s developmental and academic needs.
