The mission of the Allen Arts Alliance is to support and nurture our local arts and cultural groups as they present inspiring and entertaining experiences designed to enrich our community.

The Allen Arts Alliance is a non profit organization created to support and promote the arts and culture in Allen, Fairview and Lucas, and the non profit arts and culture organizations who create programs and experiences to enrich our community, including; Allen Civic Ballet,Allen's Community Theatre, Allen Heritage Guild, Visual Arts League of Allen, Allen Philharmonic Symphony, Notably North Tex

Date of birth
Brief artist statement (max 250 words)
List of submitted artwork: title, dimensions, and media
Artwork images in JPEG or PowerPoint form. JPEG file names must include artist name and title of artwork, e.g. VincentVanGogh_StarryNight.jpg. PowerPoint filenames must include artist name, and the titles for each piece of art must be included on the slides.

The Allen Arts Alliance's annual juried exhibit for young artists is returning to Blue House Too!
Applications are now being accepted! All visual artists under the age of 20 are invited to enter. Accepted artworks will be on display January 13--February 21, 2021.

Deadline to submit artwork is November 30, 2020. This is a juried art exhibit showcasing 20 emerging artists under the age of 20. The selected artwork will be on display at Blue House Too, Allen Arts Alliance’s art gallery in Watters Creek.

Special Announcement: Blue House Too is moving!!
We will be in our new location starting Wednesday, November 13th! Our first opening reception in our beautiful new space will be for "Artropolis" on November 21st! The new address will be 988 Village Green Drive.
We will be in our current location (934 Watters Creek Blvd) until Sunday. Make sure and stop by to see Rita Vicari's paintings before then!
Blue House Too will continue to be a space for local artists to display and sell their work, as well as an event venue and space for art classes! We can't wait for you to see the new space!

'20 Under 20' is the Allen Arts Alliance's annual juried art exhibit for artists under the age of 20. The deadline for applications is November 30th at midnight, and the exhibit opens on January 8th.

North Texas Giving Day--September 19, 2019

Please consider the Allen Arts Alliance on North Texas Giving Day! The Allen Arts Alliance awards approximately $50,000 per year to non-profit member organizations who support a creative community in Allen through arts education, music, cultural tourism, visual and performing arts initiatives.

Play and create crafts for girls and their dolls, make jewelry, draw pictures, assemble collages, and decorate salt dough sculptures. Every day we will highlight a new American Girl Doll and her story.

Hear the harrowing combat stories and the later path to healing of Vietnam veteran Sergeant Paul Reed at 7:30p.m. Wednesday, July 3, at the Allen Public Library. Sgt. Reed is the author of Kontum Diary, that includes a lengthy forward by the late General William Westmoreland.

Celebrate Independence Day with the Allen Philharmonic Winds conducted by Dr. Philip Obado on Friday, June 28 from 7-9pm at Watters Creek. Enjoy a lively mixture of marches and classic Americana melodies. Crafts for children will be on property. Come meet multiple Military Support Groups who will be in attendance.


Texas has 254 counties and each county courthouse has a unique history. Allen residents John and Anne Gifford will share their experiences and photos taken on their journey to visit all of the Texas court houses on Thursday, June 27 at 7:30pm at the Allen Public Library’s auditorium.

Plano Art Association is calling for entries for its 125 Show 2019.
Deadline is midnight, Tuesday, June 11.
The 125 Show 2019 is open to all artists living in a community within 125 miles of Plano. Judges will select the top 80 works
for display in the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts Center in Richardson.

Through building awareness, scholarships, grants and professional and organizational support to our arts partners; as well as ArtSparks art literacy programs in AllenISD schools, Blue House Too ArtSpace and Gallery, and collaborating with schools and other agencies through ArtReach programs in the community to make art accessible to all.
