Parents — AGILE summer camps are back!!!! Summer camps for GT kids grades 2-7 will be offered once again!! There are fewer camps and smaller sizes this year to ensure social distancing, so be sure to sign up quickly! Registration opens April 21 at 6:30 am.

Destination Imagination NExT Region (Collin County) is having a "What is DI?" virtual session tonight from 7-8 on Zoom to explain all about the program and and the benefits for kids PK-University! DI is an educational nonprofit that has an amazing program to help develop thinking skills, creativity and collaboration in students. This year, the program has been re-imagined so that ALL students can work virtually! If you've always been curious, join us tonight and find out about this amazing program. If you've been looking for a SAFE extracurricular activity for your child, check out Destination Imagination! They have re-imagined this season so all can challenges can be solved virtually OR in-person. This is a phenomenal STEAM non-profit educational program that is FUN and teaches important skills like critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving. Available for PreK-University. It's back! The Allen Gifted Parent Coffee Talk with Susan Blandino, PsyD and Amy Doar, LPC starts up Saturday, Sept 26 from 11 am - noon!! We did this several years ago (in person) and now we are resurrecting it in a virtual format! These two women are incredible — both are professionals and not only work with gifted children and adolescents but also parent gifted children as well! Our first topic is "Counseling & The Gifted Child." With the impact that quarantine has had on us all, it has definitely affected gifted kids as well. Is your child struggling with the "new" normal? Activity kids will be mailed to your student. Once you receive them, you can decide to join the Coach and other campers for daily instruction, coaching and collaboration OR use the provided videos to have step-by-step help to complete the challenges.
