If any of you have creative, innovative kids who love to invent or create AND you don't have a Destination Imagination program at your school -- you have one more chance to learn about DI and get your kid involved!! Destination Imagination is for kids PreK-University Level. Several Allen schools have this program offered as an extracurricular (usually through PTA) but quite a few don't. This is an amazing program -- especially for gifted kids! Teams have opportunities to learn the creative process -- critical thinking, time management, risk-taking, innovation and problem-solving. If you are interested in getting your kid involved in a more "thinking" type of extracurricular this year, come learn more about it.
