📣Shout out to our incredible Beverly Elementary PTA! Today they treated us to a beautiful charcuterie lunch that filled all of our bellies with JOY. We loved getting to eat lunch with one another during this holiday season!

⭐️Canned Food Drive Competition Update⭐️

WOW! Bobcats have donated 1,291 cans so far! Our new goal is to reach 2,000 donations so we can see flying drones at recess. The grade level leader board for donations is...

1st place- Fourth Grade with 428 donations
2nd place- Fifth Grade with 316 donations
3rd place- First Grade with 204 donations

Keep on donating and we are sure we will make our goal, Bobcats!

🍪Pick up for cookie dough and frozen orders from our Fundraiser will be on Tuesday, December 5th from 2-4 pm in the front office!

Please make arrangements if your student will be unable to carry the order. For those in PASAR, you can pick up your orders when you get your student.

This week's Level Up Leader is... PAIGE O'KELLEY!!!

Mrs. O'Kelley is an original Beverly staff member who is a true master of her craft. She is constantly looking for exciting ways to "level up" her teaching and make learning come alive for her 2nd grade students. She's a UT alum, former teacher of the year, Beverly OG staff member, friend, and everyone's favorite Disney Fanatic.

Shun is a third grade student who is our official champion in the spelling bee!! Him and his sister, Yuina, went head to head for five rounds until our winner was ultimately determined. He will compete in the district bee on January 9th.

💜The Caring Place Donation Drive Update:

We have accepted over 1,037 donations!!!! That meets our goal of 1,000 items and our prize is a day of recess with the Plano Senior Wildcats.

1st Place: Fourth Grade with 366 donations
2nd Place: Fifth Grade with 256 donations
3rd Place: First Grade with 167 donations

We are going to impact the lives of so many people this holiday season with these donations. Thank you for helping us spread kindness throughout our community! We are still accepting donations up until December 20th. Remember to please check your cans for dents before donating. Dented cans cannot be accepted by donation centers.

🔬🚀 Thanksgiving is over so start thinking about your Science Fair Entries, Bobcats!

📅 Due Date: January 11, 2024

🧪 So what is the Science Fair? It is a chance for our students to show their passion for inquiry and innovation! Students can choose a scientific question that they would like answered and then they can research and try their very own experiments to find the answer. 🌡️🔌

👨‍🔬👩‍🔬 Look for your students' Science Fair intent slip in their Bobcat Folder (feel free to ask your child's teacher for another copy, if needed), complete the information, return it to school, and you will get a handbook full of information about this year's Science Fair! 🌏💡

🍗First Grade Bobcats had their very own Friendsgiving Feast today!!

Each student got to choose their favorite friendship traits to add to their friendsgiving menu and each trait matched up with a special snack. What a delicious way to celebrate friendship!

🎉Congratulations to our very own, Ruhee Makhani!!

Ms. Makhani was chosen as a 2023 Plano ISD Education Foundation Grant Award Winner!! Her grant proposed the purchase of portable chargers for student communication devices so that students can take their device with them in real time. What a thoughtful way to ensure our students always have access to be able to communicate.

Kristin Meggers, Experiential Learning Community (ELC) Teacher, was our Level Up Award winning teacher on Friday, October 6th and Katie Dupree, Nurse, is our winner this week!
