Since the election ended, I hadn’t taken the time to congratulate the winners.
To Dr. Montgomery, congrats on re-election, and for taking over the secretary role!
To Dr. Parker, congratulations on being elected to Place 7. Throughout the campaign process, Dr. Parker and I realized we were neighbors and got to know each other very well. His experience in education and dedication to putting students first will strengthen our district, and he will serve with our community in mind.
To those who assumed new roles within our board, congratulations to you as well, and for everyone who supported me throughout this election cycle, thank you from the bottoms of my heart!
This is only the beginning, and I have never been one to stop when faced with adversity…it only motivates me more and strengthens my resolve.
