Our Philosophy :

Cabrini Parish Schools believe all students have the ability to learn. With reliance on parental and community support, our task is to foster personal responsibility, encourage a love of learning and promote character development. With an emphasis on quality academics and Christian values, we dedicate ourselves to helping students:

* Build a Christian community through their relationship with Jesus Christ.
* Become life-long learners with academic skills acquired through a challenging curriculum.
* Make a positive contribution to society.
* Develop in mind, body, and spirit. We at Cabrini High School are proud members of the Archdiocese of Detroit Schools where we Unleash the Gospel with the most unity.

Yesterday, our fourth graders had a special time working alongside their high school prayer partners to create their Saint trading cards! They are getting ready for our upcoming All Saints Mass and learning more about the lives and virtues of their chosen saints along the way.

Our grade school had so much fun celebrating the 3rd annual ARM & HAMMER™ Baking Soda Rocket Day. Baking Soda Rocket Day is a nationwide STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) event that teaches kids how a simple mix of baking soda and vinegar creates pressurized carbon dioxide to launch a rocket.

Watching our 6th graders build and launch their own homemade rockets with a little baking soda and science magic was a BLAST! Who knew a pop bottle, vinegar, and some baking soda could turn into such an awesome afternoon of STEAM learning?!

Yesterday, our high school students had the incredible honor of hearing from Sister Deirdre Byrne, affectionately known as Sister DeDe.

From serving 29 years in the military as a retired U.S. Army colonel to providing medical care to the poor and uninsured as a missionary sister and surgeon, Sister DeDe’s life of faith and service is nothing short of extraordinary. She serves as president and board chair of Catholic Heart of Christ medical clinic and directs the Catholic School Leadership Graduate Program at Madonna University, where she is an assistant professor of education.

For our students to simply be in her humble presence yesterday was a profound gift. You could genuinely feel the vibrant life, peace, and Holy Spirit surrounding her just by standing near her.

Thank you to Ms. Hughes and everyone else who helped bring Sister DeDe to our campus to share her story with our students. What a wonderful experience!

The final Homecoming post of 2026 goes to our Homecoming Royalty.

Congratulations to our Homecoming Queen, Ms. Gaby Portmann, and Homecoming King, Mr. Luis Nunez!

For the past four years, these two kind-hearted, loving souls have filled our halls with positivity, warmth, and constant support for everyone around them. We couldn't be prouder to have them represent CHS as Homecoming King and Queen!
