As the year comes to a close and the holiday lights begin to sparkle a little brighter, the Arno Elementary PTA Board would like to send our warmest wishes to each and every one of you. This season reminds us how truly special our school community is—and that’s because of you.

Thank you for the countless ways you support our students, teachers, and staff throughout the year—whether it’s volunteering your time, cheering on our Cougars, attending events, or simply showing up with love and encouragement. Your kindness, generosity, and school spirit are what make Arno feel like home.

Tomorrow night join the PTA for a ridiculously fun evening with Cookies 🍪 and Crafts with Santa, 🎅 because who doesn't love cookies and Santa. In the gym we'll have photo ops with Santa and his trusty Gingerbread sidekicks. After that you can head over to the craft table to grab your holiday creative tools 🖍️ and head into the cafeteria to enjoy some cookies while making your holiday masterpiece. We have two 2️⃣ time slots for this event due to limited space:

Group A: 6:30 - 7:30 PM
Group B: 7:30 - 8:30 PM

Founders' Day is a National PTA event in which PTA’s and PTSA’s across the nation celebrate the founding of the parent teacher association on February 21, 1897. The Allen Park PTA/PTSA observes the day by recognizing parents, teachers, students, staff, local businesses and community members for their accomplishments, service, and efforts to support the mission and vision of the PTA.

Awards nominations are now open!

Allen Park is full of amazing people and programs and we recognize them annually at the Founders' Day Awards Dinner. Nominate the outstanding folks at your school in the following categories:

Due to the crazy schedule and unavailability of our judges for the next week, the Council Reflections committee has decided to REOPEN the submission window for our district contest. We are hoping to see more entries come in as we prep the already submitted entries for judging!

Each artist can enter one OR MORE of these categories: visual arts, musical composition, film production, literature, photography, and dance choreography.
