📚 Preschool Open House – Tomorrow Night in Allen Park!
If you have a child who will be 3 or 4 years old next school year, we would love to invite you to visit APPC Preschool at our Open House!
Come take a look inside our classroom, meet our teachers, and learn about our play-based preschool program. Our classes have two teachers, small class sizes (max 15 students), and a warm, welcoming environment where kids learn through play, creativity, and friendship.
We especially love seeing our preschool alumni families come back with younger siblings; it’s one of the best parts of our program.

Get ready for a day of hands-on exploration and excitement at Allen Park’s 13th annual Touch-a-Truck event, hosted by the Allen Park Downtown Development Authority!

📅 Date: Saturday, July 19, 2025
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (no sirens 10 to 11 AM)
📍 Location: Southfield Rd behind Culver’s (15655 Southfield Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101)

Bring the whole family for an interactive experience where kids can get up close with fire trucks, police cars, construction equipment, and more! Children will have the chance to climb aboard, honk horns, and meet the professionals who operate these incredible vehicles.

This free, fun-filled event is perfect for curious minds who love to explore and learn about the machines that help keep our community running.

Trunk-or-Treat on Park Avenue in Allen Park tonight from 5 to 7:30 PM.

🎃 Free glowsticks at the entrance (Harrison Avenue and Park Avenue - next to the church building)
🎃 Trunk-or-treating: Enjoy trick-or-treating along Park Avenue.
🎃 Farmer's Market: Explore the final market of the season with Halloween-themed items and unique finds.
🎃 Delicious Food: Grab a bite from Fun Food Express Food Truck or Sno Biz Delights.
🎃 Free Balloon Animals: The Balloon Guys will be on hand to create fun balloon creations at the Farmer's Market.

Park Avenue will be closed from 2-8 PM for the event.

Sunday School starts this Sunday at Allen Park Presbyterian Church. Children are dismissed for Sunday School during their 10 AM Worship service.
