Lore says crows are attracted to, and collect, shiny objects.

We're paying homage to crows tonight, Tuesday, September 30th at 6 pm in our 1st annual Trinkets & Treasures Crow Party!

Adults 18+ are encouraged to dress in their favorite black and/or shiny outfits and bring two trinkets, two snacks, & two books to share with the group.

Each attendee can trade as many items as they brought and go home with some fun, "new" items.

No registration is required for this program & everything is 100% FREE.

Happy First Week of Fall!🍁

It's spooky season 👻& we have fun programs to help get you in the spirit this week.

For Families:
WEDNESDAY, 9/30 @ 10:30 am: (Ages 5 & below)
Children 5 & under with caregivers are invited to hear stories, eat snacks, & color in our Under 5 Storytime.
*With Special Guest, Mr. Steve of The Balloon Guys.*
SATURDAY, 10/3 @ 2 pm: (Ages 8+)
Families are invited to showcase their creativity in Chaos Crafternoon.

For Specific Ages:
MONDAY, 9/28 @ 6-7:45 pm: (Ages 10-18)
Play the roll-playing game Dungeons & Dragons in our Roll Reversals program for tweens & teens.
TUESDAY, 9/29 @ 6 pm: (Adults 18+)
Bring 2 trinkets or tchotchkes, 2 books, & 2 individually wrapped snacks to share & trade with others. Wear your black and/or glittery attire to show your crow spirit in our Trinkets & Treasures Crow Party.
THURSDAY, 10/1 @ 6-7:30 pm: (Adults 18+)
Fiber crafters of all skill levels are welcome to chat & craft in our Needles, Hooks, & Books fiber crafting group.

There is no registration or residency requirements for any program above & everything is 100% FREE.

Happy Fiber Finish Friday!

This week, the ladies in our Needles, Hooks, & Books fiber 🧶group completed four fabulous designs.

Colleen knitted the stunning shawl with a beautiful window 🪟pane effect.

Michelle is modeling the fun purple headband which will be gifted to someone special soon.

Jennifer crocheted a fun and functional hand towel perfect for the kitchen or bathroom.

And Judy finished her citrus 🍋inspired blanket that will help keep a sweet new baby👶🏼 warm this winter.

Needles, Hooks, & Books is a fiber craft group for adults ages 18+ who dabble in crochet, knitting, rug hooking, embroidery, sewing🪡, cross stitch, etc. This is a drop-in group that meets Thursdays from 6-7:30 pm in the Library Meeting Room.

Prior knowledge/experience in fiber crafting is recommended. There is no registration or residency requirements to participate in this program and everything is 100% FREE.
