We’re proud to announce Nick Chromey as the first recipient of the RMURAS Endowed Scholarship.

This is the first scholarship RMURAS is awarding under our endowed status, marking an important step in our continued support of current and future RMU rugby players.

Nick is a Criminal Justice major from North Haledon, NJ, with a 3.85 GPA at Robert Morris University. He is in his fourth year playing rugby and his third year as a team captain.

His accomplishments include:

* Three-time Allegheny All-Conference selection
* 2024 DIII Challenge Player of the Year
* 2025–26 National Collegiate Rugby Scholastic All-American
* Three years as an RMU Rugby captain

Nick will receive a $1,000 scholarship toward his fall semester tuition.

This award recognizes his work in the classroom, leadership on the pitch, and commitment to his teammates and the RMU rugby community. It also reflects the support of the alumni and supporters who helped make this scholarship possible.

Congratulations, Nick. Well deserved!
