The soccer team dropped a 5-1 decision to Holland Black River yesterday.

It’s SAC divisional competition tomorrow as the Tigers host South Haven.

Chalk up three more Ws for the tennis team after today’s Allegan Duals. The netters defeated Portland 8-0, Coopersville 6-2 and Pontiac Norte Dame Prep 5-3.

The team returns to SAC/Lakeland conference competition on Thursday hosting Niles Brandywine.

It was another couple of good days for the tennis team as it went 4-1 Wednesday and Thursday.

The netters downed Williamston 6-2 and Traverse City St Francis 8-0 and lost 7-1 to Jackson Lumen Christi last year’s state runner-up on Wednesday.

Thursday saw the net team picking up two more wins including a 5-3 victory over SAC and regional rival Berrien Springs. The team followed up that big one with an 8-0 win over Battle Creek Pennfield.

Three more teams come to town on Saturday to face the Allegan netters.

In non-conference play the Tiger soccer team dropped its first match of the season 7-3 to Covenant Christian to even its record to 1-1.

The team travels to Holland on Monday as SAC action resumes with a contest against Black River.

The Soccer team got its season underway in fine fashion defeating Watervliet in the season opener 7-3.

Next up is a non-conference match with Covenant Christian.

Add 3 more wins to the tennis team’s record! The Tigers went 3-0 today with two of those wins over perennial Top Ten teams: North Muskegon (8-0), GR West Catholic (6-2) and Paw Paw (5-3). The contest against the Red Wolves saw the teams going the distance in four matches with the Tigers prevailing in three of the three-set matches.

Going undefeated for the day were Ezra Smith ( #2 Singles and #1 Doubles Noah Kuebler-Ian Gaulke), #2 Doubles (Oliver Burnett-Carson Woodhams) and #3 Doubles (Charlie Morris and John DeLaat).

The team hits the practice courts tomorrow before hosting three more solid teams on Wednesday.

The tennis team was back on the home courts today hosting two perennial state-qualifying teams and came away with two Ws. The Tigers downed Grosse Ile 5-3 and Parma Western 6-2.

Monday continues with competition against outstanding teams from across the state. Play kicks off at 9:00 with good tennis on all courts.

The tennis team won its first match of the season today downing Caledonia. The Tigers fell to Hamilton (5-3) and Big Rapids (7-1):

It’s back to the courts on Saturday when the team hosts three more teams in good competition.

Competition for the 2026-27 Allegan athletic season gets underway tomorrow with the tennis team hosting the first of four quads over the next week. The Tiger netters host Big Rapids, Caledonia and Hamilton with matches starting at 9:00. They follow up with quads featuring solid competition on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday.

As the fall season approaches, players and coaches are getting ready and so are a group of people that have worked hard year in and year out to help make things better for the players and coaches as well as fans and supporters. And that group is the Booster Club.

The first meeting of the year is TONIGHT at 6:30 at the middle school and all that are interested in helping make the 2026-27 year better are welcomed to attend. The more that are involved the more that can be done to enhance to experiences for all.
