Our little learners had a wonderful time exploring turtles, fish, and other pond animals during a fun water sensory activity. Using cup-like tongs, the children carefully picked up and moved the animals through the water, strengthening their fine motor control, hand-eye coordination, and grasping skills along the way.

Sensory play provides so many benefits for young children, including encouraging exploration, supporting language development, building concentration, and helping children learn through hands-on experiences. Most importantly, it makes learning fun!

We loved watching their curiosity grow as they explored their own little pond adventure. 🌿✨

Classroom 3 working on a "jawsome" shark craft. We cut out our shapes, collaged the pieces, creatively designed our work, and painted the bubbles too! Classroom 3 is bubbling over with fun!

Our little artists at Academy on the Hills Preschool had so much fun creating gorgeous flower-themed artwork using fork painting! 🌸🎨🍴 This creative activity allowed our students to explore different textures and painting techniques while making beautiful blooming flowers.

🧪 Oobleck Science Fun at Academy on the Hills! 🧪

Our students had an amazing time getting hands-on with one of our favorite science experiments—oobleck! This magical mixture of cornstarch and water had everyone exploring a substance that is both a solid and a liquid… so much sensory fun and discovery in action! 🤩✨

Dance in early childhood isn’t just fun—it’s full of powerful benefits!
