What a way to end summer enrichment! Thank you to Miss Lay, Miss Green, Miss Hall, Mrs. Foster, Mrs. Cobb, Mrs. Doughty and Nurse Scrabis for ensuring the success of all of our students! A special thank you to Mrs. Matthew’s for providing a picnic on the last day. It truly takes a village. Thank you parents for sending your children every day. We are looking forward to another successful academic year! ❤️🖤

We are so excited that the students receive social emotional learning during the summer months to ensure we support the “whole” child. We were honored to be able to celebrate 4 of our teachers at the end of the year. We have seen growth, perseverance, stability, compassion and excellence through their efforts to improve personally, teach through challenges, remain positive, and to educate without borders. Early Fall I decided to work with a few students to improve overall behavior. I created a “Principal Behavior Chart “ where students had to challenge themselves to stay focused throughout the day. They had to report at the end of the day. If they reached their goal at the end of the week , they could pick a treat. For 5 months, Carter worked on improving. There were times he stumbled but he never stopped. Towards the end, he didn’t even need the chart because he stayed focused. I am so proud of you, Carter! Congratulations for exceeding the goal!!!
