Come help our 4-H Members raise money for Driscoll Children's Hospital next Tuesday, July 15th at Gulf Coast Livestock Auction in Alice. 60 people participated in our New World Screwworm Seminar today in Jim Wells County. Beef cattle producers from Kleberg, Brooks, Duval, Nueces and Jim Wells Counties came out to learn more about this pest and receive information on how to best protect their livestock in case this pest moves into our area. Special thanks to our presenters and others who provided information throughout the morning. Be sure to watch Channel 3 News as they provided coverage of our event as well.

FREE Water Well Screening - If you would like your water well tested, please come by our office this week and pick up your sample containers and forms. Collect your water samples and bring them back no later than 10:00 am on Monday, May 20th for testing. An educational program will be held on Wednesday, May 22 to discuss the results. Please see the flyer for additional information. Our office is located in the basement of the Jim Wells County Courthouse - 200 North Almond, B-110 in Alice and we can be reached at 361-668-5705.
