Here at Playday at Cornetstone we give our students one of a kind learning experiences!
Thank you Alice Fire Department 🚒for teaching our students how to stop✋🏼 drop and roll, make a family exit plan, and crawl low to the ground to avoid smoke 💨 . Hopefully they will never have to use the valuable skills they have learned, but they will be prepared 🔥
Thank you Dr. Pablo at Hidalgo Veterinary Services 🐶for teaching our students about pet care. They learned how to approach dogs 🐕🦺they encounter out of the home and how to ask for permission before petting an animal they don’t know. They learned how to take care of their pets at home and even practiced asking for permission before petting a dog 🐶
