CIAM leadership had the privilege of visiting Congressmember Judy Chu to share our mission of developing ethical, capable leaders prepared to serve their communities and make an impact locally, nationally, and beyond.

As an institution proudly located within Congressmember Chu’s district, CIAM is committed to serving the students, families, organizations, and communities of this district—and extending that impact far beyond our region.

Our conversation included recent changes to federal student loan limits and CIAM’s scholarship opportunities, with a shared commitment to expanding access to graduate education and preparing the next generation of leaders.

We are grateful for the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue about higher education, leadership, and how CIAM can continue to serve.

CIAM was proud to present a featured panel discussion at the 47th Annual CHCC Statewide Convention, themed Powering the Future. Hosted by our valued partner, the three-day event brought leaders together for development, networking, and meaningful dialogue.

Our panel, “Leading Forward: Modern Leadership Insights for Hispanic Chamber and Business Success,” featured CIAM President Dr. Jack Paduntin, Chief Marketing Officer Dr. Maria Cozette Akopian Distinguished Professor of Management Dr. Franco Gandolfi, and MA in Organizational Leadership alumna Citlalli Flores Zepeda, founder of Citlalli Brands and Solano Hispano.

We were especially proud to see our alumna Citlalli take the stage to share her leadership insights and be honored as the 2026 Pioneer Empresaria—a wonderful reflection of leadership, entrepreneurship, and community impact.

Here are the highlights from CIAM’s 2026 Commencement Ceremony—a milestone celebration made even more meaningful as we commemorate our 15th anniversary.

This year marked our largest graduating class to date and, for the first time, graduates across three degree programs: the Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, and Master of Science in Data Analytics.

We are filled with the utmost gratitude to have shared in each student’s journey and hope they move forward with the courage to lead with purpose, integrity, and impact—as stewards of Peter Drucker’s enduring Management as a Liberal Art philosophy.

That’s a wrap on another powerful year of our monthly Management as a Liberal Art Roundtable & Reading Group, led by Dr. Karen Linkletter. Our mornings began over breakfast with thoughtful roundtable discussions, followed by a deeper dive into the works of Peter Drucker through our monthly reading group.

Each session brought new revelations, meaningful perspectives, and engaging conversations—reminding us just how relevant Drucker’s ideas and the MLA philosophy remain in navigating today’s organizations, leadership, and society.
