Today was a Getty Villa field trip with our older students. The museum tour, the ocean breeze, the galleries were all wonderful! We’ve been reading a lot of Greek mythology this summer, and it was so much fun seeing the characters, symbols, and scenes of those stories in ancient art form.

It was a joy to see so many new faces join us for our first day of Spring Camp: Circles! Our little ones learned about the life cycles of ladybugs and moths through stories, art, and math, while our older students tackled diameter, radius, chords, and circumference.

A special thank you to Boy Scout Troop 361 for building us a indoor grow tent, teaching the technical side of how it works to the kids , and showing us the delicious possibilities of what we can plant by adding fresh herbs to our pasta!
We ended the day with STEM and the art of mandalas and we look forward to well-rounded days to come.

Summer camp at The Dream School House is where serious learning meets creativity.

Mornings are filled with academics - reading, writing, math skills building with emphasis on decoding word problems - while afternoons bring hands in STEM challenges, creative arts with art, music and theater classes, games and collaborative projects.

We believe children can work hard, think deeply and laugh loudly. Join DSH for an unforgettable summer.
