D300’s CTE Summer Enrichment Camps for rising 7th & 8th graders are filling up fast!

These camps are open to current 6th and 7th grade students and are designed to introduce them to exciting career pathways connected to our high school Career & Technical Education programs. It’s a great opportunity for students to explore their interests and start thinking about their future—while having a blast in **hands-on, engaging experiences**!

🤫 Parents… don’t tell them, but…
Students will also build skills in math, ELA, and essential employability skills like:

Did you know that CUSD 300 partners with the Alignment Collaborative for Education and the Northern Kane County Regional Education for Employment (EFE) Office #110 to host a regional part-time and full-time job fair?

This event is designed for students who:
•Plan to enter the workforce right after high school
•Want to work while attending a college, university, or technical program
•Are still exploring their future plans

Getting a part-time or full-time job can help you:
•Build essential workplace skills
•Gain real-world experience
•Explore different career options
•Make informed decisions about your future

Work experience can help you evaluate the best career path based on your talents, skills, knowledge, and interests, along with important factors such as:
