The Tietz Entrepreneurial Center appreciated the opportunity to join the Algona FFA Chapter November meeting to discuss entrepreneurship and bring local entrepreneurs Joanne and Beany Bode, owners of Bode's Moonlight Gardens, to share about their family business growing vegetables and pumpkins. Their operation is a labor of love; from the planning process to the hands-on planting, caretaking, and harvesting, with all family members sharing the responsibilities. In addition to being successful small business owners, Joanne and Beany both wear many hats in our community - a true example of their entrepreneurial talent and spirit! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and advice with the next generation!

This special event will feature a keynote address by Tim Ireland, the 2023 Veteran Champion in Higher Education, recognized for his commitment to supporting veterans in their educational journeys.

Join us as we come together to honor and celebrate the bravery, dedication, and sacrifices of all veterans. This event is open to everyone, and we encourage our community, students, staff, and faculty to attend.
