Last day of school! What a nice group of kids I had this year. Special thanks to Mrs. Kinseth for taking over when I went on maternity leave. She was great and they loved her! Also thank you to Mrs. Marsh for all of her help in my room this year. It was fun to bring Blaire in for “show and tell” today! Have a great summer everyone!! ☀️😃

Thank you Preston Farms and Ag in the Classroom for working with us throughout the year in the adopt a cow program. We loved meeting our cow Coco today and her baby Snowball. 🐮🐮

Pioneer Day 2022! It was a hot one, but we had a great day in our one room schoolhouse. Thanks again parents for all of your help in this unit.

We’ve been traveling for our matter unit doing different experiments in each classroom. On Friday in Ms. Berke’s classroom students made homemade ice cream! 🍦🍦🍦

Sunday, 8/22 @ Bulldog Stadium -- Meal served 5:00-6:00 with live music from "Teacher Band". Damon takes the field at 6:30.

It was fun zooming our cow Oreo today!! 🐮
This morning the 2nd graders in Algona were once again able to see and ask questions through our Adopt A Cow Program with Classroom Educator and Beef Farmer, Sara Preston. They learned more about getting ready for calving season as their cows will be having calves (babies) in the next month or two. They were then able to see their own cows and ask questions!
It is so much fun to see the excitement and interest these kids have in beef cattle! Thank you Algona Community School District for your support in our program!
